When I visit someone else’s blog, I love reading their monthly or weekly favorites list. I always enjoy looking through and seeing the things that worked for them, along with the things that helped make their month or week that much better. It’s a great way to discover new products and neat items that various bloggers recommend!
So, my goal is to compile my own list of favorites each month. Hopefully you guys will enjoy reading them and find them helpful and interesting!
My first favorite is–of course– a song. As many of you will quickly notice, I love music. This month, one of my top favorite songs was “The God I Know,” by Love and the Outcome. This song had a personal message that really spoke to me and encouraged me, and it will probably be one of my favorites for a long time!
My sunflower-scented candle by Celerie. Made my room smell amazing.
Cookie butter. I have no idea how to even convey how yummy cookie butter is. I fell in love with it this past month, and I will probably love it until the day I die. If everything else in my day goes horribly wrong, a spoonful of cookie butter can make it better. Way better. Yes, it’s that magical.
I’m super indecisive. (Ask my mother if you don’t believe me.) And it took me FOREVER–I repeat, FOREVER–to decide on an office chair for my bedroom desk. I had no clue what I wanted or what would look good in my room or anything. I was utterly lost, torn between one chair and another. Eventually, I decided to just trust my gut and buy this chair. Yes, it made its way on to my favorites list because it is COMFY. Exactly what I need as a student and a blogger who finds myself in a seat for long periods of time! Plus, it looks great with my bedroom desk.
I also have an obsession with fluffy and fuzzy things. (Again refer to my mother if you don’t believe me.) I got this fuzzy keychain for my backpack for literally a dollar off the Wish app, and I’ve gotten tons of compliments and “whoa-that’s-cool-and-fuzzy” remarks about it. Why is it on my favorites list, you ask? Because it’s fluffy. That’s all. 🙂
BabyLips lip balm. I had seen people using it–lots of people actually. However, not until this month did I actually go out and try one for myself. After at least 6 months of using the EOS egg lip balm and trying to convince myself that it really did make my lips look amazing (it didn’t), I decided I needed to try something different. Call me cliché, but BabyLips is the way to go. I’m going to risk sounding like an ad and say that it really does make my lips feel smooth, soft, and shiny. And it actually wasn’t expensive! Double win.
This mason jar mug. Made me want to drink more water–and anything that actually makes me want to drink water is automatically one of my favorites!
Let me know what you think–do you want to see more monthly favorites? Also, what are some of your favorites from the month of January–or even from February so far? I would love to hear from you!
